Founded in 2025, Kappayum Kootarum opened its doors in the heart of Kozhikode with a vision to bring the warmth of Kerala’s countryside to the city. From day one, our mission has been simple — serve authentic village-style dishes that capture the soul of traditional Kerala cooking.

Visited Kappayum Koottarum and ordered Pidi, Pazhamporiyum Beef'M, Beef Roast, Beef Curry Ney Pathal, etc. The atmosphere, music, and hospitality were excellent. The food brought comfort and authentic taste.

We tried their Kappa Biriyani (Ellum Kappayum) and absolutely loved it. It had that authentic South Kerala taste, truly satisfying. We also had Chicken Stew with Bread, which was really good too.

Visited this spot in Kovoor and tried their പാൽകപ്പ (paalkappa), beef (served separately), and dosa. The food was genuinely good. The പാൽകപ്പ was soft and fresh, and the beef was well-cooked with good flavor.
